You don't have anautomation problem.

You probably have a process problem that's been sitting there for a while. Automating it just makes the broken thing run faster. I help business owners see what's actually going wrong first, and then we figure out what (if anything) needs to be built.

I don't start with tools.

Most people come to me with a list of things they want automated. We usually end up talking about something else entirely. Because what they want automated isn't the thing that's actually slowing them down. So I look at the real process first, ask a few uncomfortable questions, and then we figure out if building anything makes sense at all.

Automation, once we know what to automate.

I map what's actually happening in your workflow before touching any tool. A lot of times, the process just needs to be cleaned up first. Once that's clear, the automation part is usually the easy bit.

AI agents built around how you actually work.

Generic AI gives generic answers. I build custom agents or GPTs after I understand how you work, such as what decisions you make, what you need to know quickly, what keeps slowing you down. So the thing I build fits your situation, not someone else's template.

Prompts that give you real answers.

Most people get vague responses from AI because they're asking vague questions. I design prompts that get at the actual structure of your problem, so you get something useful (not just something that sounds smart).

Custom-built when nothing off the shelf fits.

Sometimes you don't need another subscription. You need one specific thing built for how your business actually works. I build small custom apps, tools, landing pages, or websites (fast, using AI-assisted development), so you get exactly what you need without waiting months or paying enterprise prices for it.

About Me

Hi, I'm Val.

I spent 19 years writing code, leading tech teams, and consulting on systems that were supposed to make businesses run smoother. And somewhere in that time I noticed something: most of the problems weren't technical. They were process problems dressed up as technical ones.

People kept buying tools to fix things that needed a conversation first. Nobody was stopping to figure out what was actually broken. I found that annoying enough to make it my whole thing.

So that's what I do now. I look at what's actually happening before anyone touches a tool. Sometimes that means building an automation. Sometimes a custom app or a landing page. Sometimes just reorganizing how something works. Occasionally it means telling someone they don't need anything I offer. That happens more than you'd think.

Let's talk about what's breaking in your process.

Book a call

No pitch. Just a conversation about what's going on.

We get on a call, you walk me through what's happening, I ask some questions. If I can help, I'll tell you how. If I can't, I'll say that too. You walk away with a clearer picture of what's broken - not a proposal sitting in your inbox.

If I can't help you, I'll say so in the first 10 minutes.

What you actually get.

  • ✓ 19 years in tech, but I'm not here to talk about tech. I'm here to understand your business.
  • ✓ I ask questions first. Build second. Sometimes I don't build anything at all.
  • ✓ I'll tell you when something isn't worth building. Even if that's exactly what you came here for.
  • ✓ I stay involved as things change, so what I built doesn't become useless three months later.
  • ✓ No hourly billing. You pay for the outcome, not the time I spend figuring it out.
  • ✓ I build the simplest version that actually solves the problem. Not the most impressive one.
